The Ancient Mills of Val di Morins

Flanked by the Seres stream and the beautiful Viles of Seres and Miscì, eight fully restored water mills form the Val di Morins in Longiarù. The ancient constructions were an indispensable tool for Ladin farmers who survived solely on agricultural income — today they stand as a living and moving testimony to the ancient local culture.

The mills of Val di Morins, one of which can also be visited inside, form a trail of approximately 2 km that allows visitors to discover a place of incomparable beauty, far from the hustle of tourist resorts. Here time seems to have truly stood still: the sound of the water, wood worn by the seasons and old mechanisms make this walk an authentic and quiet experience, beautiful in every season.
